Chuck D is suing his record label claiming for $1 million.
The Public Enemy MC says they stole millions in commissions and a portion of his music publishing catalog.
After signing with Reach Global Music and Terrordome Music Publishing in 2001, he claims "they took advantage of his lack of business acumen" and "created a complex master plan to hide money from him."
He says there were hidden transactions, false and fraudulent copyright registrations and more.
Chuck D wants $1 million for damages in excess and full ownership of his songs after losing a 42% stake in his music catalog.
